We meet monthly, usually on the second Thursday of each month at 7 PM, to discuss fiction and non-fiction books of interest to our members.

Our Club meetings are open only to League members. Please contact our Co-President, Linda Herman, if you wish to participate in the Book Club meetings.

Our next book club meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.

The book title is:

A Promised Land by Barack Obama

A Promised Land is Barack Obama's memoir of his early political career and the first two years of his presidency. Obama takes us on his journey from relative obscurity as a biracial kid from Hawaii to becoming a transformative figure as the nation's first African-American president.

NOTE: As this is a lengthy book, we will cover through Page 330 (the first half) continuing with the 2nd half (Part Four) at our next meeting, Thursday June 8th.
