LWVUS joined NO KINGS as a national partner on Saturday, March 28.
What began in 2025 as a single day of defiance has become a sustained national resistance to tyranny, spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy. Our peaceful movement is bigger than ever. In the photo is the South Bay LWV table representing Beach Cities, Torrance and Peninsula. League members included (from left): Hydee, Deborah, Rylee, Ann K., Pat (sitting), Deepti, Ann N., and Beth. Many more League members showed up to help at the table, carry signs at the rally, and listen to the speakers.
