LWVUS Climate Action Plan Team Presents POWER TALK
About this event
The League of Women Voters has prepared a fantastic new document that introduces and explains the concepts related to electric power generation, transmission, distribution, and regulation. It was written for lay persons interested in the transition to carbon-free electric power. It is user friendly, with a good table of contents, glossary and graphics. It can help all of us more knowledgeably participate in the discussions and decisions about the transition to carbon-free sources of power.
In this meeting we will present a video that local leagues can use to introduce Power Talk and we will explain how local leagues can apply it in their advocacy for electrification and clean energy. Members of the CAP team will be on hand to answer questions.
