Dear League members,
Today, the League of Women Voters turns 106 years old.
For more than a century, generations of suffragists, organizers, advocates, and volunteers have carried this work forward, often in moments of profound uncertainty. They understood something we still know to be true: democracy does not sustain itself. It depends on people who are willing to stand up for it.
In my State of the League address, I share why the League remains strong: because of you. Because of Leagues showing up in communities across the country. Because of the voters we empower, the rights we defend, and the courage we bring to this work every single day.
As we honor 106 years of history, we also look forward, committed to carrying this mission into the future with clarity, resolve, and purpose.
I invite you to join me in reflecting on what we’ve built together, and what comes next.
